This event aims to bring together global experts, researchers, and students to discuss and advance biotechnological innovations that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Scheduled for 24th–25th April 2025, this prestigious event will focus on emerging technologies and sustainable solutions in diverse domains such as health, agriculture, bioenergy, environmental remediation, and food security. The event will highlight cutting-edge research in industrial biotechnology, computational biology, plant and algal biotechnology, climate change, nanobiotechnology, and marine sciences, fostering a global dialogue on how biotechnology can be harnessed to address pressing environmental and societal challenges.

Dr. Arpita Roy is working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering and Technology (Department of Biotechnology) at Sharda University, Greater Noida. She has published over 100 SCI/SCOPUS indexed papers in peer-reviewed journals (h-index 40; i-index 110; Total citation >500). She has qualified GATE, CSIR-UGC-NET and ICAR-ASRB NET. She has been listed in the Top 2% of scientists in the world for consecutive three years (Stanford University report published by Elsevier in 2022, 2023 and 2024).

Prof. R. Rajesh Kannan holds a PhD. in Biotechnology (Mar. Bt) from M.S. University, India, by working as a visiting doctoral scholar at David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA, USA, with a specialization in CLSM imaging of neurogenesis, transgenic development and electrophysiology in zebrafish model. He has 15+ years of experience in academia and industrial connections. He serves as a Life member of the Indian Society of Nanomedicine. He is continuously contributing to the scientific society by reviewing articles for various SCI journals and delivering guest lectures/invited talks/Session Chairs in India and abroad.

Dr. Kamal Narayan Baruah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Sharda School of Bioscience and Technology, Sharda University. He completed his M.Tech. in Food Process Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and jointly obtained his Ph.D. from IIT Guwahati and Gifu University Japan under the Food Science and Technology program. His expertise is in enzymatic extraction, bionanomaterial synthesis, encapsulation, and product formulation
